Today, I flew to Sydney for the Neil Lawrence Creative Strategy Holiday Party. It sounds crazy, I know - even crazier to know that it was a 2.5 hour can ride after the flight. The road to Neil's house was all rocks and mud and very steep. Driving down it looked like we were en route to film Jurassic Park 4. Rainforest everywhere. When we finally got to his house, it was a lovely home in the rainforest clearing. If it hadn't been pouring rain, we would have had a view of the ocean. But, something about the rain, the big fireplace and pot belly stove made it awesome. We had some marvelous catering. A Secret Santa where I was the proud recipient of a 36-pack of spices. So yummy. It was close to midnight when I got home, but so well worth it to have great food and conversations with new friends.
