June 19, 2004: Ferry Building

Today was a great day with Dave. We spent the afternoon walking around the Ferry Building at the Embarcadero. We walked from his loft down to Market Street, stopping at the hardware store for sandpaper. Then coffee at Peets. Then the Ferry Building for shopping at the Farmer's Market, more coffee and lunch on the waterfront. Dave showed me how to make the best cup of coffee ever (he is such a process-oriented guy). We walked back to his place through Union Square on Maiden Lane and went into a candle shop.
