ave's mom is thinking about moving to Brookings, OR so Dave and I took a little roadtrip to check out the town. The drive there was so beautiful. Trees, trees, trees - so tall. And we drove through a bit of wine country as well. When we got to the Oregon border it was late, so we grabbed a hotel. In the morning, we drove on to Brookings and checked into the B&B. That place was so cool. It was right on the inlet of the ocean and this stream. Whales were swimming in the waters nearby and the innkeeper was so sweet. Brookings is a very slow-paced quaint town. We checked out some coffee shops and a restaurant or two - and some antique stores where Dave bought some cool show molds from the early 1900s. Even though it was rainy, it was very nice. We stopped in Arcada, CA on the way back at this cool old bridge. We saw otters playing in the river below.
