Workin' for a Living

No house adventures today. Not even really an update of what is going on. Sorry world. I spent 13 hours at work today catching up.

After being sick last week, getting upgrades to MS Office 08 (which is terribly slow on a Mac), and knowing I am out for the next 8 days -- well, I thought I should get my calendar and to-do list in order. Except yesterday afternoon my computer ate my calendar and to-dos. Luckily our IT department is damn good and they got it all back in order. 

So I am off to Austin on Friday for the South by Southwest Festival. I am going to the Interactive Conference (none of the cool movie or music stuff). But I am so nerdy that I am excited anyway. I am going to see my friend Reyna, who is now three months pregnant. I am going to see my dad and sister and other friends in Austin and Nacogdoches as well - work and pleasure.

When I get back, I have a day to pack and a day to move. Crazy. I am hoping Dave will update the blog and Ken will take photos so I can keep our progress updated as well.
