Saturday night brought us another turkey day celebration. Dave's coworker Tim (who was so great to us when we came out here for the interview) and his wife Helen hosted us, as well as Chris (another American co-worker who just moved here from San Diego) to Turkey dinner. Can I say how awesome it was.
The oven was French and finicky so it took a while to get to baking temperature for the turkey. But never mind, we can drink wine and play Mexican Train. What's that? That is what I asked. Helen said dominoes. I was like, dominoes? Oh I have never had so much fun. You must run out and buy four bottles of wine, this game and gather up some friends.
Oh we had some excellent cheese and appies, then turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, green beans, gravy, rolls, salad with prawns and a fab fruit tart Dave and I brought.
