Indeed, a perfect ending -- rainy weather, fabulous brunch and a lesbian wedding.
I got up this morning and drove to Oakland to meet JC (he is a recruiter I know from work) at his house to see their remodeling job and then we went to lunch at the Claremont Hotel. Excellent. The weather warranted grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup and mac & cheese. Then I went to Ana and Rebecca's wedding (Ana is an old housemate of mine and former co-worker). So it was a beautiful ceremony full of personality. I got to see some old co-workers from the Goldberg Moser O'Neill / Hill Holiday days.
Denise and I were going to go to Todd's party but it was so rainy and I am trying to not have an alcohol or caffeine before I fly. I stayed in and got a second wind on packing so it was very productive.
