Shopping

So I went to the CBD today to do some shopping. I so miss the US stores. The quality of most things I find here are not as good and the prices are much more. I went to Big City Chic, which was basically a very trashy version of Torrid. I went to Myer, which is suppose to be like Macy's but was more like a JCPenney if you ask me. The store was so big, very hard to find things. I did encounter a nice salesperson who helped me convert my bra size to Aussie. Fabulous since our less than great dryer ate two of my bras yesterday.

I am also missing US TV. We get a lot of channels here but I am dying to know what is happening on my crime dramas. I think iTunes downloads aren't working so well from here. I think there is something about copyright issues from the US to other countries. Ugh. 

I did get my work visa on Friday which is great. Now I can get a paycheck on the 15th. It might make it all seems worth it. It is sad to go to work and not get paid. But it will be a big paycheck. Nice.

OK. Sort of a blah blah blah post. My iPhone is still in disrepair so no cool photos or anything. I am hoping to get back up and running on all fronts soon. I am at the mercy of IT at work.
