One of the things (many things) that Dave and I see as a downside to our current house is its lack of entry way. This is mainly for two reasons.
1> I hate being dumped right into the action of the living room.
2> There is no acceptable place to "drop your things" when you come in the door. No coat rack, bowl for keys, place to hang you hat or coat.
We have discussed converting the patio off the front door into a proper entry hall, but until then -- I am wondering if something like this would work?
