After that, we went to breakfast at Alana's in Burlingame. They have really good scones and a nice atmosphere. We walked around downtown Burlingame a bit and then we were off again.
Then we checked out this cabinet place called Vista Kitchen & Bath in South San Francisco. I found them on the Internet, so we weren't sure what to expect when we got there. They have amazing deals - Ikea prices but solid wood. We selected the cabinets for the blue house and if they turn out nice, we might use them for our house. Score! The lady who helped us didn't speak much English. Luckily her friend could translate. By the end, Dave knew how to count to ten in Cantonese.
Then we went to Home Depot, Target and Anna's Linens. What a beating. But we got curtains for the beige house and a bunch of other odds and ends we needed.

On the way back, we stopped at Park Chalet for a bite of lunch and some beer. We had to see the Windmill and the lovely flower garden.
Then we headed back to Mill Valley to unload the car and unpack some more. We managed to get part of the room in the garage fixed up rather nicely. Dave set up the stereo and we hung out there and listened to music for a while. It was so nice to sit and relax a bit - I even fell asleep in the chair I was so tired. The room really is a cool place to hang out.
