Sunday morning, we lounged around and then headed to Yarra Valley around lunch time (check out the photo gallery). Our first stop was Yering Farms, on the recommendation of a former co-worker, Jason R. We loved the rustic nature of the vineyard and friendly staff. Next time, we will bring a BBQ lunch to cook up on their barbie.
Next, we were off to Yering Station. This one was a recommend by Liz, who really knows her wine. We loved the tasting and the food in the cafe was unbelievable. Perhaps one of the best meals I have ever had. We also found more Jam Lady Jam and promptly purchased three jars.
Our next stop was the Brentwood B&B. We checked in, met the innkeeper Chris (who is so lovely). We met some of the animals and then upon Chris and Liz's suggestion we went to Giant Steps Winery and Restaurant in downtown Healesville. We were pretty full from lunch but ordered a great pizza.
