Queen Victoria Market

Queen Victoria Market (Queen Vic or Queen Vickie) is a great big huge farmer's market a few blocks from our house. They have a whole building for fresh meat, one for cheeses, coffee and breads, 2 pavilions for fruit and veggies, a slew of restaurants and stands for arts and craft vendors.

We love to do our weekly shopping here as much as possible because the quality is tops over Safeway and you can usually get a great deal. This week we bought lamb chops, steak, shrimp, salmon, chicken, coffee, some really yummy dips, mozzarella for tomato salad, plus some apricots, nectarines, grapes, and so forth.

This photo shows Dave waiting at one of the meet counters waiting to get some steak.
