Project Kickoff

In web development, we always talk about project kickoff. I think this weekend marks the kickoff.

First, we started off by admiring all the cool tools Ken brought with him from San Diego. A tile cutter, some sprayers for paint and texture, tons of nail guns, but the coolest was the new Makita drill with a light in it - so you can drill in the dark - just what every man needs.

An important thing that happened this past week, was that Todd fixed the feng shu issue in the beige house. This was where when you walked into the kitchen the refrigerator was like right to the left of the door and there were cabinets behind it you couldn't even access. Seems apparently they purchased all the right cabinets, but put them in all the right places. With a little re-arranging and jigsaw puzzling - Todd made it make sense.

After admiring the tools and the new layout, Ken, Dave and I headed to Mill Valley to have dinner with Dan (Dave's brother), Shelia (Dave's sister-in-law) and Chris (Dave's stepmom visiting from FL). We went to some place called Small Shed Flatbreads - amazing pizza and great salads.
