San Diego Sunday

So, Dave went to San Diego this morning for a quick trip to visit his mom and take her a new computer.

Ken and I woke up early and headed to the property.

Ken ripped up the blue house bathroom floor - what a mess. I went to Home Depot for the kitchen design appointment - what a mess.

The bathroom floor was all rotten and gross. The wall behind the toilet and sink was rotten. The pipes were in sad shape. But Ken got everything cleared out and cleaned up. I discovered that Home Depot isn't the place to design a kitchen.

Consultant: I designed the kitchen for you. It is perfect.
Me: Hmmm. That is nice. We really wanted a hood over the stove, not a microwave. Can we put the microwave somewhere else? Dave really wanted the hood.
Consultant: It is a small kitchen. Tell your husband that he doesn't need a hood. He needs a microwave.
Me: No, we really want a hood.
Consultant: It just isn't possible.

Uh, ok. I am going to Floorcraft to get my kitchen, thank you very much. Plus Home Depot only has framed cabinets and I prefer the more modern frameless. Buh-bye.
